The Undergraduate Student Legal Aid Office provides free assistance to currently-enrolled full-time University of Maryland undergraduate students. Funded by the Student Government Association, the Student Legal Aid Office has been assisting university students with legal questions since 1976. Legal services are categorized into two types: students with general legal questions and students seeking assistance regarding university charges. Please choose the correct type of service that you need in order for us to best address your specific issue. 

For Legal Advice, appointments can be made Monday through Friday.

For help with University Charges, appointments can be made Monday through Saturday. 

For Notary Services, appointments can be made on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Additionally, we can only provide services to current University of Maryland undergraduate students. Please bring all important documents with you and your student ID.
